Quick introduction…
Mike is a London based TV and Film Editor specialising in scripted comedy and drama. He has been cutting for over 20 years and been collaborating on some of the most respected scripted narrative projects for the past 10. At 22 Mike helped kick start the boutique post production house Platform in London’s West End and was their in-house Avid and Smoke artist before heading out to go freelance.
Recent projects include BAD SISTERS 2 for Apple, BABY REINDEER for Netflix, EVERYONE ELSE BURNS for Channel 4, THE BABY for HBO, the multi-award nominated GHOSTS for BBC1, Game of Thrones star - Maisie Williams’ first comedy - TWO WEEKS TO LIVE for Sky, The critically acclaimed THERE SHE GOES starring Jessica Hynes and David Tennant and cop comedy CODE 404 starring Daniel Mays and Stephen Graham which became Sky’s most streamed original content of 2020.
BABY REINDEER recently got the Emmy nomination for editing. Mike also landed himself a BAFTA for his contribution to the multi award winning HORRIBLE HISTORIES and also won the RTS Craft award for editing in 2013. His Editing handy work on Ghosts was also given the nod of approval with an RTS nomination in 2021 & 2019.
Mike is also in the fledgling stages of developing an editing mentoring scheme to help young editors break into the industry.
